About the Role
• Work with a registered nurse and other clinicians to help care for clients in their homes according to the service plan
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating
• Assist clients with self-administration of medication as needed
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance within guidelines
• Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping
• Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and linen changes
• Assist with incontinence care
• Assist with transportation needs
Requirements
High school diploma or its equivalent
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license and insurance
Work Authorization
Prior experience as a caregiver or working with seniors preferred
